The DAE is a highly available, high-performance, high-capacity, disk-array storage system that uses a Fiber Channel Arbitrated Loop (FC-AL) as its interconnect interface. Its modular, scalable design provides additional disk storage as your needs increase. If required, you can upgrade your DAE to an Intelligent Disk-Array Enclosure (IDAE).
